4.5 stars didn't give 5 like I did for the other so far just cause I enjoyed this one a little less, the stories were still good but a few weren't as good. Also is it bad I feel like I relate a lot to Harley in these comics.

Harley Quinn and Batman go on a date.

I took a long break in the middle of this comic. I had a few ARCs come due, including a Harley Quinn one! This worked out well, though. I had started getting a little burned out on this universe. Filling my head with other novels, even [b:Harley's Little Black Book|31311781|Harley's Little Black Book|Amanda Conner|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1498864350s/31311781.jpg|51984160], gave me a chance to flush my brain and come back fresh.

This was the cutest of the past three volumes. I didn't know how that cover art was going to play out in the story itself, but that was so much fun. I would love to own that volume by itself, it was so cute.

I really need to hit my local comic shop and see how many individual Harley volumes they have available. Because some of them are so good, while others drag the whole novel down.

The first story featured Harley saving Ivy. I ADORE this relationship, even though it's more a fan tease than anything else. But these two being friends who should be more than is just so obvious and so perfect. I need more villains as friends storylines. We also get the origin of the Egg guy I kept seeing because I read backwards. Very fun, and quirky.

We also get Harley celebrating Christmas, in a way only Harley can, by slipping stray cats and dogs into the bags of holiday shoppers. This is...something I would do so very much. It's hilarious and brilliant and sums up perfectly why I do like HQ so much.

The Harley/Bruce Wayne-Batman storyline is kind of schizophrenic and all over the place, but has some brilliant points. Carp Man. Stealing a million dollars from "someone" who robbed people of their money using a pyramid scheme. Last name Runoff. Too good.

I did kind of end up shipping Harley/Bats. Kind of.

And finally, the formation of the Gang of Harleys, another plot point I missed while reading backwards. I LOVE THESE GIRLS. I feel like I saw an entire comic devoted to them? I'm getting on that.

My Hoopla app doesn't have volumes 4 and 5, and that means trying to track them down. Just the idea is making my head hurt, but I really want to continue with this.

I just need to pace myself. PACE YOURSELF, WOMAN.

I am really loving this new Harley Quinn! Even though she keeps getting into trouble, she always has good intentions. Whether it's helping a stranger, a fellow bad guy, a little girl on Christmas, or cute little puppies, she always tries to do the right thing (even if it's the wrong way). She wants so badly to be a do-gooder, and that makes her lovable. I also loved the variations of art styles throughout volume 3. The only thing missing from this volume is more ROLLER DERBY! Derby Harley is my favorite cuz she can be her lovely violent self because that's the whole point of derby. Her quirky and sarcastic personality just keeps growing in these volumes, and it makes me love her even more.

I didn’t love the batman x harley issue, or her ‘assistants’ but, i did like the festive issues and the first issue.

The better volume in this series. It kinda cuts back on the eye rolling OOC of Harley Quinn and sticks to actual stores. I just wish they could cut back on the 'fourth wall breaks' of stuff it was cute in the first one now I'm just skipping stuff because it's so stupid. Not in any rush to read Vol 4, like I was for this one. I only picked this up because it was easier to find against the other ones I was looking for.

I received an ARC from NetGalley.

I'm not a big fan of the HQ specials (except for the Comic Con one), so this one didn't do much for me. I'm also not as much a fan of the new artist, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

It is getting better. The series had a bit of a rough start with the first two volumes, but I am liking the direction it's taking with volume 3.

The Christmas story with Harley using her superpower of "a psychiatry phd" to psychoanalyze an overactive child and help her go through her grief was pretty great, and the kind of story that is perfect for the character of Harley Quinn.

Harley locks lips with Bruce Wayne, Batman and Ivy in this volume. Good times!
