I devoured One of us is lying, because it is a good book that excellently portrays today’s youth, but it can be quite stereotypical at times. Although, the whodunnit aspect of the book was not so unexpected. However, what stands out for me with this book is how the characters are portrayed as complex (with all their flaws) and not just their stereotypes. Furthermore, the reader is able to understand each character individually and equally. I ;however, must warn the reader that the book contains excessive blasphemy and cuss words. Although, I do not agree with the use of cuss words and blasphemous words it does fit with the genre. I would recommend One of us is lying to the youths and adults alike if you are interested in a good mystery with round characters.

If this was a tv series, I would watch it! There was something so addictive in this book and I was so shocked by the twist! Read this; it’s worth your time!

Review to come on my blog. Link in bio.
This book was better than I thought. After being a bit disappointed by the YA I've been reading, this one wasn't disappointing at all. I liked the difference of each character, and the mystery of the death had actually a good story around it. Not mad at all.
