Another good story a bit intense at times but with the usual smooth skills Kate and Nick get out of troubles.
I've been reading this slowly because I knew it ended on a cliff hanger and I don't have the next book. It came out last year so I can, when I have an opening, read it. I didn't want too much time to pass between readings. Hopefully next month I can read it.

I greatly enjoy this series. I love the humor and action that are woven together. The books are lively and fun. I can't wait to read the next one.
The Scam was cute, funny and on par with the other books in the series. The plot was entertaining, and all the usual suspects are involved in the scam, so as expected there is lots of gunfire (real and fake), helicopters, a stolen bus, fake blood. and all the intrigue of a casino. I'm enjoying seeing the relationship develop between Nick and Kate, but the romance takes a backseat to the main story (which I like). My only complaint is the ending! Why a cliffhanger?! I love to hate cliffhangers!

I always enjoy Janet Evanovich! This series is definitely picking up as it goes on. Not as laugh out loud funny as the Stephanie Plum series but still a good ride.

I usually like the Fox and O'Hare books, and this is still true. However, this one seemed longer than it was. Kate And Nick are between Vegas, Macau, and Hawaii. Not only helping out a friend in trouble with a local Hawaiian crime lord, but also trying to take down a money laundering casino owner. I dont know if it was the lack of action with the usual gang, the multiple plots that they keep trying to bring together (that of course get foiled by the bad guys), or that you didn't get much of Nick and Kate together. This one was just not as good as the last few and the short stories.
These books are fun. I enjoyed this one more than previous in the series, but I am unsure why.
I've read most of Janet Evanovich's series, and this one is currently my favorite. The characters are likeable and fun, the action is nonstop, and the plot keeps my attention. I always look forward to the next book! I also absolutely loved that the "will they/won't they" didn't drag on indefinitely, and the ending was amazing! About halfway through the book I thought it would be nice if the ending wasn't gift-wrapped the way they usually are in Evanovich's books (not necessarily a bad thing), and I certainly got my wish. Already looking forward to the next book!
