This one didn't really grab me like the first book. I actually abandon this book. I am going to re read it again as I hate not finishing series. Hopefully I'll enjoy the second time around

Okay I liked this second book much more than the first. Not that I didn't like the first-I did. This one just drew me in even more. First up, Christian??!! Really? What about Tucker?! I've been rooting for Tucker from Day 1. And I'm really intrigued what Clara's going to find out in Italy...will we finally figure out who Angela's mystery Italian boy is? This one had tons more surprises, some I expected, other I didn't. It didn't have quite as much suspense as the first book but I was okay with it because it felt more real to me.

I'm excited to start reading the third book!

Ehhh more like 3.5. I liked it but I wasn't OMG this is the best book ever. Maybe angels just aren't my thing....

I really enjoyed this one, just as good as the first. I was surprised by changing my preference in the love triangle.
SpoilerTucker wasn't in this book very much and the author did a good job at convincing me there were too many barriers in his and Clara's relationship. Plus, showing how Clara's mom fought her purpose for so many years, also convinced me that Clara should learn her lesson sooner rather than later and choose Christian. Can't wait to see how everything turns out!

4 Stars.

just beautiful...and sad....but mostly beautiful :')

This book may have just rippedy heart out, stomped on it, and then tried to place it back correctly in my chest. It failed. My heart is now sideways.
Needless to say, I really enjoyed this book. The character development shown in Clara was great, I also enjoyed "meeting" her father. (For those of you that read the book, you know what I mean. It was great, and literally had me fangirling for ten minutes!).

Another book I listened to - I don't think I would have LOVED this book reading it, but I honestly really enjoyed listening to it! I may have even shed a few tears. 3.5 stars

As a continuation, it was okay.. doesnt really feel like much happened from book 1 though.. the whole Tucker vs. Christian thing seems so drawn out.. and no offense to Tucker but I like Clara and Christian. Will definitely continue the series because there are so many unanswered questions with Clara, Angela, Christian and a lot for Jeffrey. I do hope that Jeffrey doesnt turn out to be evil!

One of my favorite books of the year. Hand took her story in several directions I did not expect (thought there was good foreshadowing.) Also, I enjoyed the subtle nod to C. S. Lewis at the end. (Subtle enough that I'm pretty sure most people who haven't read Lewis extensively wouldn't even notice it.)
