DNFed at 45%. The book was just boring and wasn’t attention seeking. It was way different than the movie. The book was nothing like the movie and that’s what I thought going into the book. I am very disappointed and couldn’t finish it
After my best friend literally forced me into watching the movie, I was really surprised that I ended up liking it as much as I did. We decided to read the book together and I love these characters even more now

I love the Descendants movies but I did not like the book as much as the movie. It is so different than the movie. The characters are the same but the whole storyline of the first story is different. It took me long to finish because it had more difficult words than expected.

Book is slow but good has a movie. I will not be continuing with this series when E-book physical book or audiobook.
I read this with my seven year old daughter whom liked it. I found it to be challenging to her reading capability but not to her mind. The story is a bit predictable and the characters don't inspire. I wanted this to be funny. It had lots of potential to be funny and witty and challenge the readers ideas of what evil really was. Instead it seemed to actively avoid the topic all together.
