So here's the deal...this book had me laughing and blushing. It is VERY spicy at times with explicit language, so if that offends you, skip it. However, some of the scenes seriously gave me comedy vibes of movies like "The Night Before," "Bad Santa," and "Office Christmas Party" with fake dating and bizarre unrealistic situations. I did enjoy it, but it won't be for everyone.

Is this whole book fucking rage bait?? Wtf is going on and how old is this author ðŸ˜
It was a new-ish twist on some tropes. Spice was definitely spicing, but…some characterizations were just too…much. Too much for me to continue to suspend disbelief. But I still stayed up way too late to finish it.

Everyone in this book is awful. Things that are supposed to be sexy or funny are just gross and/or cringey. I don't have super high standards for romance, especially not for holiday rom-coms, but this is quite possibly the worst I've ever tried to read. Someone out there may like it, but I'm posting this to make sure I don't forget and end up trying to read this book/author again. Definitely not for me. Also: IMO, no holiday romance should be over 500 pages.
