I really enjoyed it, but it felt like a very abrupt ending with a lot of things unresolved. I assume that's to get us to read the sequel, but I wish it had a satisfying conclusion.

So super cute! My only issue with it was the weird modern slang and references (“it’s hard to human today”). The fantasy world-building aspects were solid, but some of the “normal” elements were unclear in terms of what time period it all takes place in. I assumed it was late-19th Century, but then there were phones and radios. Hopefully in the sequels we get a bit more context.
A cozy tale about a water nymph who’s desperately trying to turn back into a human. She learns that if she can get a mortal boy to kiss her, she will regain her humanity and can return to her family.
This was a fun read, low stakes but still interesting and compelling. It features polyamorous love in a G rated way. It was light hearted, magical and nonsensical at times but in a good way.
