The Hatred

This book was a great fast read. I do believe I haven’t hated a character as much as one in this book since Umbridge in HP.

Queen Me is incredible addition to this series. Rowe is human who was left behind when Adora & Dannika was ban from the land. Now on a rare night out with them she runs into Volker and their stories take off there. Volker and Rowe journey is amazing. Rowe is trying to find her way and Volker just wants revenge. But things change when they fall for each other but it’s not without ups and downs. To see their ending is incredible.

Queen Me, book 2 of the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. All books of this series will be set in the same universe with characters coming in and out of each others' stories. Book 2 brings us Rowe's story. She has always wondered what happened to her mom, is now finally when she will find out?

This book has humor, sadness, joyful moments, and deception. Man I hate when people you think care about you, just stab you in the back. Rude!

Rowe finds out a lot about herself and just maybe she can find someone to spend her days with. Isn't that what we all want from life?

Amber Lynn Natusch wrote a great book and I can't wait to see what the next ones have to bring us.

I’m not sure what it was, but I was bored, and the writing style didn’t make me want to continue to find out what happens next. Maybe the book gets better, but I just don’t care to find out.

Absolutely loved the book.

I loved how it focused on a side character from the first book. Rowe and Volker have undeniable chemistry. The story, whilst being a slow burn, kept me wanting to turn the page and it was definetly worth it.

Thinks keeping jt from being 5 stars:
•I wish we'd had more chapters from Volkers perspective
•I wanted to see slightly more of how their relationship was after the main plot ended

Oh my goodness, this book was so good. I absolutely love the story behind Rowe & Volker. It is such an amazing ride & I could not put this book down at all.

Rowe is an amazing character who has accepted her lot in life, at least until Volker shows up and turns everything she thought she knew on its head. Volker is hell bent on a single thing, his revenge, at least until his world takes a then he never expected.

These two have amazing chemistry & when it all comes to a boiling point, it boils over so well.

I continue to love every book in this series & I can’t wait for the next one.

Amber Lynn Natusch took on Rowe’s story a human in the Supernatural Realm and she knocked it out of the park. It was so amazing I read it in one sitting. I can't wait to see what the next author in this Immortal and Vices series has to bring to the plate and which character.

4.5 stars! The main things keeping this from a five star in my opinion, is that it seemed to be a little slow in the beginning, and it took a bit to really grab my attention. However, once it got going, it really got going, and I really loved the story, by the end, I was completely engrossed, and totally loved where it went.

We met Rowe as a side character in the first book of the Immortal Vices and Virtues series, as Danni’s human best friend. Now, Rowe is center stage, and her story is quite intriguing. As a human, Rowe has relied her entire life on the consideration and kindness of the supernaturals around her. While not a perfect life, by any stretch of the imagine, and honestly, she works her butt off just to feel like she’s earning her keep, Rowe is generally content with the life she has. Until one night, as she stumbles into the Moonlight Wraith - the supposedly deceased, ousted former ruler of the House of Air and Amethyst. He is convinced that Rowe is the key to his retribution and return to power in his House, he just needs to help her unlock her magic - which she insists she doesn’t possess.

The back and forth between Rowe and Volker is great. They have excellent banter, and with the slow burn, their chemistry builds with every interaction. Once the spice hits, it’s fantastic, and doesn’t feel forced or even dragged out. The timing for their relationship fits just right. The way the plot unfolds, once it really gets moving, is very interesting, and added some very good twists to the story. The side characters were excellent, and I’m hoping for future books in this series to highlight them further! There is also a great subplot here for Rowe - there is a deep, and unexpected betrayal, and some big secrets that come to light, and she gets to see what real friendship and family looks like, something she never really believed she had, or would ever have as a human in this supernatural world.

Overall, a really great urban fantasy with great characters, continuation of the fantastic world building in this series, and some scintillating spice.
