I'd put reading this book many reviews tell you it's not Brandon's best book being his first . I really enjoyed it even if its not warbreaket or any of the mistborn bookd.

New year I will be tackling the stormlight archive.

Brandon is one writer I'm glad I found thanks to the covid crisis and a new found hunger for words.

The world-building in this novel is brilliant. I loved how rich this world felt when it came to lore and history. This world already has established kingdoms, clans, religions and an intricate magic system which makes this world feel very real.
I wish Sanderson would have developed the magic system a little bit earlier in the story, most of the book the magic was barely there, and in the end everything happened at once. But this is his first work, and also the least polished one, so it's safe to say it was a very solid debut  — it was much better than I was expecting.
