This one is a weirdly funny book. I did not expect the werewolf... things (alpha/omega superstitions, heat cycles, and knotting )... to go that far. After I got over that surprise, the book offered me a solid and fun reading experience. Although, the the third act breakup felt somewhat hasty with the lack of communication during it, especially as even just a little more open communication could have helped skip the whole thing and bring the plot to the same conclusion in a happier way.

I don't know if I can say with full confidence that Mackenzie and Noah had any chemistry. It felt as if it was just physical so the lovey dovey romance wasn't really there.
There were a lot of cringey moments which I admit I love sometimes but I didn't particularly care for them this time. I think it was harder to look past it when the characters weren't as lovable.
