I enjoyed most of the book. The added romance from the first book wasn’t my favorite but I think it added to the dynamic between the characters. The ending sets up for another book, but after 500+ pages, I was hoping for more of a resolution. Still an enjoyable read with nice action and an interesting set of magic systems

This book was supremely slow at the beginning. Nothing and everything happened all at once. Those last fifty pages though

I thought the pacing was a bit jarring and again, the magical rules can get confusing, but Deonn writes with a lot of heart! Bree is a wonderful protagonist and the way she balances magic with real-world oppression is both inspiring and heartbreaking. The character development continues to wow and the plot stays exciting and interesting. I’m looking forward to book 3.

Este libro es increíble. La mitad del primer libro no me había gustado nada y contra todo instinto seguí leyendo porque tenía fe de que a la larga valiera la pena y si, la segunda mitad se puso mucho mejor lo cual me llevó a darle una oportunidad a la secuela y comprarla. Bloodmarked se va al carajo en todo sentido posible. En ningún momento dejan de pasar cosas, está repleto de acción y la autora expande muchísimo más el mundo que conocemos en Legendborn. Bree es un personaje que madura muchísimo y el squad al que seguimos en este libro me dieron momentos muy lindos. Bree, Will, Alice y Sel son todo. Extrañé a Nick pero los pocos momentos que tenemos con el son ❤️‍
