Thank you for the ARC.

This book was so enjoyable. Renee delivered a brilliant book

I enjoyed reading the development of the relationship between Talon and Aurora. Talon was a main character who wanted to achieve everything he could in his career, and this proved difficult when his grandfather needs Talon to get married before he can take over the business.

Aurora is a teacher who is chosen by him to help convince his grandfather that he is suitable to take over, she is reluctant to agree to being his wife for six months, but the offer would help her small town, especially the students at the school she teaches.

I loved the way they connected, how they developed a close relationship, despite the time they spent together, was supposed to be short due to their contract. This book was well paced, and I love the storyline, even the conflict towards the end.

***ARC REVIEW****
I have learnt things about myself from this book.
Everybody likes a man with a filthy mouth but I never quite thought a woman with a filthy mouth will be my undoing but DAMN

This is my first book by Renee Harless and it will not be my last!

I loved Talon and Aurora (and Dean). I am a sucker for a marriage of convenience book and the fact that it doesn't have a 3rd act breakup is automatically a download for me!

Talon is an heir to a hotel chain. But in order to gain access to his trust he needs to be married. In comes Aurora a high school teacher who he plans to proposition her into a marriage with him.

Y'all I loved Talon! If you love the "my wife" moments then this book is for you! If you love a man who has a dirty mouth and will do anything for his "wife" again this book is for you!
Aurora is a sassy, strong, independent FMC. She doesn't tolerate when others speak down to someone and when it comes time she finally stands up for herself with the help of just knowing Talon is there for her and has her back. You can feel the chemistry between these two characters the moment they interact with each other. I loved how their relationship grew and the stolen moments they had with each other. I am big on communication between characters and this book delivered. Talon and Aurora could always tell when the other was upset/happy etc and communicated their feelings to one another, I LOVE that. I loved all of the side characters in this book and will go back to read their books. I really hope Dean gets a book of his own because I loved honestly loved his character and his relationship/friendship with Talon, Aurora and GiGi!

I want to thank Renee Harless and The Author Agency for my ARC.

this was a cute, spicy, and wholesome romance that gave me all of the feels!

tropes: marriage of convenience, small town, opposites attract

talon is supposed to be the next CEO of his family’s hotel chain, but he can’t step into that role without being married. he devises a plan to find a fake wife that way he can take over what is rightfully his before any of his competitors get the job before him. falling for aurora, a literal ray of sunshine from a small town, was never part of his plan, but things never go as planned.

talon and aurora are so cute together and make the perfect couple. i enjoyed reading about them and learning more about their pasts. they both have more to them than meets the eye.

thank you for the arc <3

This is my FIRST marriage of convenience book! And I think I am hooked on the trope now! There’s just something about watching two people fall for each other in an unconventional kind of way. It just adds something to the story! Talon is a billionaire with a vendetta against his mother & inherit his inheritance. One catch in order to do that he needs to have a wife and be married for 6 months. Talon is nowhere near close to getting married but decides that he’ll strike a deal with someone in order to get what he needs. Aurora gets to show up and show out at her ex’s wedding & Talon gets his inheritance. Easy right? A marriage that’s only a business transaction. Everyone gets what they need and goes on their merry way. However, what happens when lines get crossed and feelings start to develop? This book was so good!! I was in the mood for a sweet romance & this did it for me. I love the town, the supporting characters. It was just top notch. I loved watching the relationship between Aurora and Talon blossom. I’m a sucker for grumpy/sunshine and this gave us just that! Their chemistry was palpable.

Thank you to Renee Harless for the ARC!!
