It was an interesting retelling or reimagining, but after about 50% I lost interest. It was funny how she used all the names and wove everything together, but the way things happened was weird in my opinion. The clock part was funny.
I really loved this book 4.5 ⭐️ the whole thing had me wanting to come back, was a slow burn but kept a hold on me the whole time. Such a good read I can’t wait to read the next one! And the spice wasss spicing

Could not put this book down. I loved the twist near the end with who was all involved, but I figured some of them were involved somehow from the introduction of their characters! I loved the way the other tied certain aspects of the original fairy tail into modern day aspects like the Jolly Roger being a bar instead of a pirate ship. I liked that the author had a character you wouldn’t expect to be a villain in the end like Smee who was always so loyal to Hook in the true fairy tale. I enjoyed the character development throughout with Hook and Wendy as well. Also I would have liked to know why Moira was seeking revenge, if it was a specific reason or just simply because Hook used her. Can’t wait to read the others in the series.
