First off this book had me “Hooked” pun complete intended!!
Ok I loved this book it was so much better than I expected based on reviews! I am definitely more of a villain gets the girl girly it’s just is much sweeter when the big bad villain falls for the fmc.
I love James/Hook and how we get to see him changing throughout the book. But for real the smut is on point too and he has a mouth on him!
Great plot twist I thought I knew what was going to happen but I was wrong and I was not mad in the least about it!

OK, I didn’t want to like this book as much as I did, but I liked it. It was definitely better than the Emily Henry book so I guess I like it a bit darker.

Not for me. I agree with other reviewers that the stakes were too low. I liked the concept but there could have also been more depth to the characters.

The parts were no genitals were mentioned (although there weren't a lot parts without them) were.. okayish?
I don't see the appeal at all, but I thought I would give this genre a chance (and get my thesis done with that hahaha)
