I don't know how I feel about the idea of giving well known villains from my childhood a traumatic backstory to create empathy to try to turn them into characters that I actually like, but I do know that I loved this book.

I LOVED THE BOOK. I love the plot twist at the end . I do love that this authors writing style and how she did a twist with Peter Pan . This was a 4.5 style for me .

good but rushed

Loved the book but felt it was a little rushed. Maybe it’s all the other books I’ve read but it felt like there was more to the story and thrill that could have been told! Overall it was good and loved the story of James and Wendy!
