Great conclusion to the series. Full enjoyment does require knowledge of other King works ( IT, Dark Tower series), but will not prevent enjoying the story.

Still not sure why the original novella had to be a trilogy (that takes Gwendy to space?!?!) but this one was fun enough and had some interesting connections to other SK books

I really enjoyed this series. I am more than happy with the ending to this fantastical, magical story.

Really enjoyed the Gwendy trilogy. Personally I like Gwendy more than Holly as a main King female character. Also all things serve the beam.

This was a fairly good story. It moved along pretty good except where he inserted all the political drivel that had nothing to do with the story. The story is about making the right choice no matter what the cost. it does make you wonder.

Jason X, Leprechaun 4 and Hellraiser Bloodline all went to space, were ridiculed for it and yet were all better told and more thoughtful stories than Gwendy's Final Task. The first Gwendy adventure was a fun little short that did a lot with its limited length. Her second outing was pretty bland so I was looking forward to King getting back on board for the third one but I think its actually worse than The Magic Feather. It is packed to the brim with King fan service but its none the better for it. The majority is just daft, in a bad way.

Its not the worst thing Kings ever put out, in a world where End Of Watch exists its going to be real hard to limbo under that bar, but it is incredibly mediocre. It also feels like its not from the same universe as the other books and I think that's because of the shoehorning of real political figures into her already fictitious political landscape. We all know Trumps a dobber, theres no need for immortalising him further.

A solid end to the story. Loved the connections to other King stories.

It’s been a long time since an ending brought me to tears…
