I have a lot of mixed feelings about the series. It would feel wrong for me to heavily criticize it since it was Leigh's first series and she wrote it when she was an inexperienced writer.

Nikolai carried much of the story. Without him, I don't know if I would have been able to finish the series. Him alone made the series worth my while.

While the Grisha Trilogy has its issues, I don't think we would have got Six of Crows without it.

hmmm. mal is slightly more likeable. only slightly

3 Stars.

This as just okay, I wanted more from this trilogy. I absolutely love the world and the magic within this story. I also liked the politics and strategy in this book. But most of the characters I really didn't enjoy reading about and they brought down my reading enjoyment a whole lot.

The only characters I did enjoy were The Darkling, Nikolai, and maybe Zoya and Genya. I know that the author was trying to make the readers attached to the characters but it did not work for me. Alina and Mal made it almost unbearable. There relationship was so annoying. I really didn't like how
the novel ended.

I really think Leigh Bardugo has potential to write amazing stuff. I will read [b:Six of Crows|23437156|Six of Crows (Six of Crows, #1)|Leigh Bardugo|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1459349344i/23437156._SY75_.jpg|42077459] because I'm hoping this is the story I am looking for in this world!!

i really liked this book as a close to the trilogy. i feel like it ended in a satisfying way,
even though she doesn't have her power she has mal which she really couldn't have had otherwise. i love nikolai but he needs someone who truly loves him.
the losses along the way were sad, and the book was pretty predictable, but overall it was a good read!

Honestly thought the ending was charming! The beginning was so tedious to get through though, I had to skip some pages because I just wanted anything interesting to happen...
