this was overall a great conclusion to the trilogy. there were definitely moments that took me by surprise and it was plenty action packed. at first i thought the ending was a little rushed, but my mind was quickly changed with how the author wrapped everything up. the final chapters concluded the story of some characters in a beautiful way that was satisfying and felt right. some very touching and powerful moments towards the end helped solidified the course of the story and wrapped things up perfectly. there was definitely more depth to the characters and their encounters compared to the second book and i think that’s what made this one stand out more.
this was definitely my favorite out of all of them. i still don’t love alina, but the little family they all formed in this one made me so happy. the last 50 ish pages made me sob uncontrollably which was unexpected. ALEKSANDER
everything hurts.

Satisfying conclusion to the end of the trilogy. The story kept my attention and I enjoyed where it took me. Things were darker than I expected for a YA book, which is fine. I like that the characters are not so exaggerated that they are super good or super bad - but they all have flaws. I also did not see the “reveal”, which I appreciate. I will continue to read more Grishaverse novels.
i mean it was probably the best out of the 3 and it did get better when mal stopped being so annoying and stuff actually happened
still didn’t like it that much and could’ve stopped and had no motivation to go back at all points
I CAN GO READ SIX OF CROWS NOW YES LADS SO EXCITED!!
(also i laughed when alina was crying and i’m pretty sure we were supposed to cry too but i was laughing and then shouting at myself for laughing oops)
