Soothing & enjoyable to be back with Knausgård's work. This is lighter touch than the my struggle series (although still deep content). Interestingly written in second person. Liked the artwork a lot too.

probably the easiest knausgaard i’ve read - no less detailed than any of his work, but far more linear in its memoir. at times heartbreaking, really quite gorgeous.

A diversion from the formula, here, and a welcome one at that. In what could have become stale, the bite size reflections on life’s many elements are left behind in favour of a time-wobbly memories of pre-pregnancy, mid-pregnancy and postpartum. Moving, power, insightful, and self-reflective for better and worse. Intimate, brutal, real, this is life, parenthood, family and mental health. It’s real, and detailed. Just so good.

Mental health and hospitalisation occurs.
I really hated this book, and it was disappointing as Karl Ove Knausgard had become one of my favorite writers. This collection of stories describes problems with his marriage and his cold hearted attitude towards his wife's mental issues. Not very empathetic person.

Beautiful. I loved the detailed descriptions of mundane, every-day things. Somehow it never felt dull or too dragged out.. Knausgaard has a particular writing style that I really enjoyed.
