Holy..shit. I wasn’t excepting to be spooked out of my wits and super upset that it all didn’t end up being a prank only because I felt so bad about all of the fates throughout the book. I couldn’t out the book down. The author wrote a book so well I felt as if I was there amongst them fighting for my life too!

 it was pretty fire and the twists and stuff ate but the ending felt very rushed and generally not like a satisfying ending and in addition to that I feel like the stuff with the owl people could’ve used a lot more explanation yk

That was a fun ride! Really went off the rails toward the end there, and many of the twists were quite predictable, but it was a fun story in a cool, creepy setting, with a BA protagonist - perfect for Summerween!

My review is: not my favourite Kalynn book, but I still love everything she writes!

This is a great read if you love teenaged slasher films.  I don’t tend to watch them, but this was still distinctly Kalynn.

I'm admittedly not a big fan of slashers, but am a fan of Kalynn Bayron so I gave it a try. This was a fun, fast-paced summer camp slasher that took a little bit of a different twist than I was expecting. A quick read, and I'd definitely recommend for bigger fans of the genre than me.
