Picked this up for the premise and stayed for the satire.
This is the kind of book that’s made infinitely better by a hopeful ending.

Honestly lacking the words to even describe this book. What a concept. But it was so well thought out, written about beautifully. It was almost a comedy, almost a romance, almost utter heartbreak yet also about real life issues. The complex relationship that was Kevin and Amber, let alone the complexity of their characters alone is hard to put into words. Once it settles this could well become a 5 star read. So so unique it’s almost hard to rate. Such a variety of everything, described with such grace and wisdom yet the added value of the side comments, the wit and the humour that is wholly reality television. Hard to believe this is Wills’ first novel.

Interesting book and cleverly written. Lots of social commentary. At times I could not put it down.

This didn't do much for me.

The good: the cover, the canadianisms.

The bad: everything else.

I felt like I was reading a reality TV show and really couldn’t get into it. Maybe another time!
