Picking up where the first book left off. This book has a lot more trauma in it. Going into the human trafficking and has some really hard to read scenes. The smut is good and makes you just fall more in love with this couple.

So good! It was great seeing Addie go from being a battered woman to a total badass and zades soft side as well. All the characters were great. This book made me FEEL things. Rage, terror, grief, lust, all the things. I’d recommend this book to anyone who loves their romance a little dark and their love interest VERY morally grey.

Holy shitballs 🥵🥵🥵 that was a wild ride! Y’all they weren’t joking when they said this one was darker than the first 🖤 I haven’t been torn up by a book like this in a while! 

You MUST read Haunting Adeline before reading this book and I recommend going in blind, other than minding the trigger warnings. This book was gritty, raw, and twisted. It’s the kind that will stick with me for a long time for many reasons. First, the spice is just *chefs kiss* perfection. Second, watching a character heal following severe trauma felt so realistic. There is no easy path to recovery and this is felt with every inch they crawl forward. Lastly, Zade is literally book boyfriend goals 😍 a sexy, badass, vigilante who can be kind and caring but will burn the world down for me? And has a dark kinky side? Where do I sign up?! 😍

Just like with the first book be mindful of your triggers! Below are the most obvious ones but the book has many! This book (while amazing) is NOT for everyone.
