This book is the epitome of an adrenaline rush if there ever was one. So sickening and chaotic and unbelievable. I honestly hate it but I couldn’t rate it too low because I was completely engulfed with interest and I couldn’t put it down. I speed read the last like 100 pages because all the craziness had tamed down and I was completely burnt out. Truthfully I’m just mind fucked.

Pay attention to the trigger warnings. Your mental health matters. This is a dark book with a lot of trigger warnings and some hypocrisy. As a horror book and horror movie fan, I enjoyed this book and liked the spice.

People may call me crazy for saying that I liked this book, but genuinely I did. Though the book is  traumatic and had EXTREMELY triggering events I couldn’t put it down. Some of the parts were really hard to read but I needed to find out if Addie was okay and if Zade would find her. I think that what makes this book so good is the constant tension of “what is going to happen next.” Constantly wondering what will happen. You grow very closely to Addie in the beginning of the book and really see her growth. She becomes a survivor. She is a survivor. She’s constantly fighting. And you want to fight for her too. Though the traumatic events she endures have negatively changed her life she learns how to push through life because she is a fighter. Also you get to see the a side of her develop that is very similar to Zade, as well as watch their relationship grow too.

My favorite book!!! The only thing that could possibly make this better is if there was a bit more on Zade and Adeline after everything. I need more!!! I really hope we see more of them in Sibbys books or maybe get another book!! New favorite author and new favorite book!
