Trigger warnings. Read them and read them again. This book is tough to read for so many reasons, so make sure you pay attention to them.

Parts of this were difficult to read, but I think that is a normal reaction to a book that is this dark. I came out of this with a new found love for Zade and Addie. They are unstoppable. Individually and as a couple.

“I don’t care if I need to set this world on fire until there’s no one left but you and me. The world will burn around us, and I’ll gladly live in chaos with you as long as the only person that is a danger to you is me.”

“You and I will never end, little mouse. Even when we’re six feet under, and our bones are dust, I will haunt your soul until it aches to be free of me. And then, I will hold you tighter.”

I had high expectations because I loved the first one, but this one just really wasn't my cup of tea.

I don’t normally write a review, but this book and the one before well and truly destroyed me. This one is very dark but so beautifully done. It pulled my heart in every direction.
I found myself wishing for more of Adeline and Zade once I finished it.
I don’t think I’ll ever stop thinking about this one and wishing it could have been a bit longer. I wish for another book in this series because I was really left hoping for more of their stories and the characters around them as it almost felt like it was missing.
Aside from that it was an emotional rollercoaster and I’m happy to have been on the ride.

Yaaaa I love this series. I COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN!!!!! I knew it was a dark one but this one was ~DARK~ like, put the book down for a while to walk away because it was hurting my tummy. BUT I LOVED IT. I was so anxious to see what Zade was going to do to the kidnappers when he found them. Maybe unpopular opinion but I actually turned to like Rio, he just comes off a bit no bueno to begin with & the reunion at the sanctuary had me tearing up. Sibby is a twisted girly but she had me cracking up. The dual POV completes this series. Reading about Zade and how he was helping Adeline in the healing process was chefs kiss. I just love Zade and Adeline

The character development and the plot development in this book were 10/10.

We get to see Addy form in to herself in this one, and I definitely like her more.

Sibby is… well… the darkest part
