The title is what mostly made me want to read this. Whole lot of “women are evil tricksters”, but the book is practically prehistoric so I can’t be surprised. Fun to read though, I appreciated the story and the imagery of the green knight and his chapel were cool.
“Never have I known such a namby-pamby knight.”

I'm shocked at how good this was. Armitage's translation was incredible and enthralling. I feel like this was actively a horror tale, lending itself to even modern horror.
