was not expecting to love this one so much! i'm not typically a fan of older stories told in verse, but i'm in love with this one. definitely a favorite of mine so far :D
Probably the best epic poem I have ever read!
Bonus points for the Troy and Illiad MVP Hector references.

this is way more interesting when i can just imagine dev patel doing everything
“‘And why should I tarry?’ And smiled with tranquil eye. ‘In destinies sad or merry, true men can but try.’”
IF you can get into the way it is written then it's a wonderful story.
Me gustó mucho la historia. Ya conocía la historia por la adaptación que hizo David Lowery para A24.
Es muy bella y vivida la escritura y resulta fácil leer los símbolos que están diseminados por el relato.

That twist always gets me. HA! It makes me guffaw every single time.
Alliterative is definitely an interesting genre I never knew about, and this kept my interest more than Beowulf or the Odyssey, but I can't help but think that if I were critiquing this piece in a writing workshop, I would tell the author that it was completely contrived.
