Ok, throughout the process of writing my paper, I’ve convinced myself this is in fact a banger. 5 stars.

First read: 4.5

I’m planning to write my term paper on this, so maybe I’ll insert a portion of that once I’ve written it. But for now, no long review yet again.
adventurous inspiring medium-paced

Having watched the beautiful David Lowry film multiple times before coming to the original text, I've got to say, it's very funny that the original Green Knight is just a big green man that likes smooches

I read and annotated this for my Discovering Literature class, and let me tell you, while the story and premise of the poem were interesting, they DRAGGED ON. The kitchen scene, for example, did not need to be that long.

This is one of my favorite Authorian legends. It read more like a modern day fantasy tale than any of the others do, in my opinion. Go, Green Lady!

it was actually really good, i just predicted the end like halfway through

Halloween 25’ costume, Gawain and Geen Knight

I thought this was pretty fun and I really enjoyed the verse itself.

It's super bizarre in certain ways. So much of the poem is devoted to sexual tension and frustration even though the poem begins with a quest.

I don't know. I really liked it. It's a weird little story in the grander legends of Arthur Pendragon, with interesting connections between Gawain, Morgan le Fay and Arthur. It mostly makes me want to write something about a knight.

But I'll be digging into these Arthur legends for the first time in almost twenty years, which I'm pretty excited about.

So... many... pretty... words. Reading this book was like speaking pop rocks or chocolate. YOU HAVE TO READ IT OUT LOUD. The alliteration and the flow of the words are utterly beautiful.

My lips still tingle.
