This had a really rocky start, I almost didn't finish it, but I am glad I pushed through to the end. Once you get about 1/2 way through the volume, the story starts picking up and the characters grow into themselves better. I am not sure if I will continue this series or not, but may give the second volume a chance.

I thought this was fine! I didn’t feel engaged enough to continue on with the series, but this was an easy read for a cozy afternoon. I was also a bit meh on the art, which at points could be small and hard to see, while also being a bit bland. So I probably won’t continue with the series. I did think the one-shot at the end was sweet & I’d read a continuation of that!

The anime series is better than this manga series for me just cause pacing is faster here, the scenes sometimes just jumps from one page to the other but I mean I bought this cause I already love Zen and Shirayuki, so. In the end, it doesn’t matter to me, lol. It's works for me like having something tangible to remember the show description

Kapan hari ada yang bilang, Akagami no Shirayukihime itu comforting book yang kalau udah tamat nanti bakal sering dibaca ulang sambil menikmati secangkir teh di hari berhujan, and i haven't stopped thinking about that image ever since
