Somewhat interesting story, but I'm not really a fan of the caveman feeling and the constant "you're mine" mantra. And why is the main girl in the book (for the series thus far) almost virginal, and the man always gets an erection as soon as she walks in the room and their pick up lines are all about fucking them hard, etc... Not realistic and I really think the overt sexual tones takes away from the series. Some of the characters are interesting, and I got invested in them, but I think the books could be SO MUCH better.

The youngest Sinclair

I loved this book, Mara made it so easy for Jared. Jared just couldn't stay away, his sweet tooth was too much.

I was really expecting something more along the lines of the suspense and mystery in Dante and Sarah's book. Then, I thought that maybe the story's theme would be about Jared buying Mara's house. But it wasn't.

I found this book to be on the boring side. I kept reading waiting for something to happen. This Sinclair Billionaire book just didn't hold my interest.

The Forbidden Billionaire is about Jared Sinclair, who was introduced in the first book No Ordinary Billionaire and how he falls in love with Mara, who owns and runs her family doll shop. Well, at least she did until there was unexpected fire on her home/work. Yes, she lived in the building where she made dolls. And Jared has been infatuated with her since he arrived back home to Amesport, Maine.

Things get heated between the two pretty quickly - however, it's a way different romance than the one you read about between Sarah and Dante. There's still twist and turns within this book but you find out that Jared had a bad past and Mara definitely brings out the good in him. She's the light to his darkness and they are glad to have found each other.

Also, in this book you get to meet the rest of the Sinclair family due to Sarah and Dante having their wedding. Plus, you finally meet the sister and I seriously hope she has a book because I really want to read more about what happened to her before her brother Evan finally figure out she was in her own trouble. Also I want to read about her relationship with her now husband too.

I really like the flow of this book and it also doesn't hurt to have an audio book while at work on the computer crunching numbers all day. I seriously can't wait to read the next book because it's about the eldest brother, Evan.

ALSO, what is with these guys having a wedding within a month after they propose?!?

Love this series. J.S. Scott does it again. A very tender love story with flawed characters that find their strength in each other.

This is technically 3rd book in series about Jared and Mara.
Mara owes a historical building dating back to first settlers.
Mara grandma owed it before her mother and now her. She still makes her dolls that her mother taught her to make but her heart wasn't in it and with the business struggling Mara will have to make hard decisions.
Jared comes home for Dante wedding and becomes interested in the old building and meets Mara.
Instantly Jared knows he needs to get to know Mara and figure her out.
Tragically Mara shop/home burns down and Evan jared's oldest brother saves her life.
Jared offers his home to her and they start a slow relationship.
Really like that Jared has demons and he struggles massively.
Great story there are bits that are the same through all jss books but they are very easy quick read that you can just enjoy without your brain working to hard.
Looking forward to Evan's HEA.

The Forbidden Billionaire by J.S. Scott was another AMAZING story. Jared was tortured by an event in his past and that prevented him from believing he should find love. Mara was a struggling doll maker who wanted to keep her failing shop open to preserve the memory of her mom and grandma, but was devastated when she found out someone had purchased her building and she was being evicted from bother her shop and her home. Jared has already been intrigued by Mara and he offers to help her start a new business. This allows them to spend more time together and they start falling for each other. Once Jared's secrets are revealed will Mara stick with him tho? I found this story very hard to put down to do silly things like eat, sleep, and work. It was addicting, compelling, and hooked me from the beginning. It gets 5 stars from me and I can't wait for more books from J.S. Scott.

This story is sweet. Jared Sinclaire is a self proclaimed asshole that doesn't believe in love. Mara, is Amesport unofficial historian. Jared finds himself drawn to Mara.

If you are familiar with J.S. Scott's book, you will notice that this story like all her others follow the same type of plot, but she does a great job weaving all the characters together.
* I recommend you read the books in order*
