ah i might pick it up some other time, but I am seriously NOT in the mood for it right now. its been pretty slow to pick up action so far (i think the drama will go down a bit later, if there IS any, which I sincerely hope so) and i did not want to to take the time to read through every scene that are all super similar in literally every way and that you have to be in a certain vibe for. i read for fun and am very much a mood reader, so i really read any genre/topic so long as it fits my mood and i enjoy the writing, etc. predicting this to be about a 3.25 read. the mom clique stuff is pretty unique, i like how the “one in power/queen bee of the group” dynamic is being played out and is a major part in this novel, the motherhood and friendship as well, and i too like the aspect that a few of the moms form a group of their own, i just have yet to be swept into the story and drama and I suspect i will have to read quite a bit more of this book to get to it. i was already in a bit of a reading slump when I started reading, i wanted the major plot right away haha.i suppose it would have been a fun summer read, though!
