Bored white soccer mom being a little too nosy. If you like constant repetition, mediocre writing, and a very slow almost glacial pace for 85% of the book and then the speed of a rocket launch at the end, you might like this book.

Characters were dull. Not the author's fault, but I found the main character's "I don't get what's happening with the youth these days" attitude to be annoying to read about. The mystery was drip-fed and then answered all at once. I didn't find any of it unexpected and found the twists to be more like roadblocks delaying me from getting to the end of the story.
Lewis was so unbearable from the beginning that I couldn't understand why anyone ever thought he was good?

I was really excited to read this one, the synopsis just sounded so intriguing. Unfortunately I ended up finding this story to be too slow and a bit boring. I almost DNFd this multiple times and only pushed through hoping that the big reveal would pay off.

I found that the protagonists crossed a lot of boundaries and was oddly obsessive. There were also whole storylines (and even an entire chapter) that went no where and had no use to the plot.

A solid Hannah mystery. Is it supernatural? Is it sci-fi? Is it something else? It keeps you guessing. As ever, the villain in this story is super messed up. (One day I'd like to go back and compare the personality types of Hannah's antagonists.)

The book was tense throughout and kept me intrigued. each chapter seem to introduce a new possible ending, only put the true ending to circle back to original suspicions but with more depth. Though this book was tense, it was more narration and dialogue driven than it was action driven.

DNF-ing. This book is awful. I cannot suffer through it anymore. The story just walks in circles the whole time. I basically read the summary of the book every other chapter. The mystery did not progress. There was a random completely unnecessary scene that I actually called my sister and vented to her about it. (We're reading it together) and we both decided enough is enough!
