A modern retelling of Lord of the Flies. It's a fine book with teenagers making questionable decisions.

It was incredibly distracting that they kept mentioning model "Hella Badid" and really threw me out of the story with incredible force. While the author can say any resemblance is accidental...this was definitely on purpose and jarring to say the least.

Could have been a very cool book about the trash fire that was fyre - sorry, Fly Fest. Unfortunately it missed the mark for me. There was just a bit too much going on and it didn't all link together.
