With Everything That I Am is the second book in the "Three" series by KA, and yeah I have to say that this book was so wonderful in so many ways. I adored it, and I did like this one much more than I did book one but it is different so it is hard to truly compare them. The worlds are so different from each other in some ways but connecting in other aspects. I really feel that KA really did wonders with this story and her marvelous story telling that she has given us here.

In this story we have our second pairing of the three that will save the world. In this installment we have Callum and Sonia as our leads. Callum is the king of the wolves and Sonia is his mate and yet is human. Callum and Sonia meet when Sonia is just a little girl, when she bonds with his wolf when she sees that he is injured and he protects her and sees her safely home. Callum has watched over her over the years, and even though he has kept his distance until she is of age, he knows how special she is. But she doesn't know that he is her "wolf" or what their relationship will turn into. Callum knows that he is immortal and Sonia isn't. She will live a human life span but he is determined to hold the years they have together special....but he is keeping a special secret from her...his true identity. But will Sonia have a destiny that is unknown? Will she accept Callum for who he is? Or will secrets keep them apart forever?

I truly adored this BOOK so much....it definitely had its typical KA feel to it (which by the way is the best feeling ever) and even though I wasn't a huge fan of the secrets in this book. Now I will say that it is understandable why Callum keeps his identity from Sonia somewhat. I honestly felt he could have told her the truth in the beginning and she would have handled it. But there has been so many secrets kept from Sonia so she really struggles with the truth once it is all revealed because he isn't the only one that has been deceiving her in her life. I really enjoyed how she handles Callum in many respects. She has more maturity (than the heroine in book one in my honest opinion) and I liked that she takes Callum as he is.

It is truly heartbreaking to see how torn Callum is about his Sonia. To know that he will see that he will live the heartbreak his mother lives without his father in just like 50-60 years. It is truly so sad to see how he keeps striving to hold her heart despite knowing what will happen in the future. Even though I wasn't a true fan of the secrets that he keeps from her through the story, I did find that it actually worked and honestly I HATE secrets so much but you know Kristen Ashley is a worker of magic and the way its written in this one, I was okay with. *shock* but yet its the truth. But I will mention that there are worst secrets kept from both of these two and yeah I couldn't stand that secret even more. As much as I adored these supporting characters, it was horrible what they do to Sonia and Callum here, very cruel in many respects. And those who have read this one know exactly what I mean by that.

Overall I found this story to be another gem of this author that I fell so hard for and in a way that only KA can deliver for me....its a story of hidden reveals, a sensual shifter romance that will capture your heart and emotions in all the beautiful ways.

3.5 considering the first one I gave 2 stars I'd say it has improved. I read the fist one a while ago so I don't remember much, bust it must have been interesting enough for me to finish it all, as it is no short book.

I have to say, with this one I had to get through the beginning until I felt like I was enjoying it. I am glad I didn't quit it. She got thrown a lot her way and I felt for her, so much so, that I could not eat much for lunch as my stomach was all tense. It was a shame how she didn't speak up before, as all could have been solved and she could have avoided all that pain and enjoy him.

Shocking how two people can live the same experiences and see them so differently. And how it affected them. This just proves me further that it is better to just say what you think. Although I understand her, that is why it didn't annoyed me, because, like I said, she got a lot thrown her way so I sympathized.

The second in the trilogy is *almost* as good as the first! While the final twist was predictable, I loved the journey, and I can’t wait to find out what will happen with the prophecies in the final book! 5 stars.

Unfortunately I had to read this on my OverDrive. That means I don't have notes to help me in my review.
I seem to remember a couple of typos in my copy, but nothing that interfered with the story.

I loved both main characters, Callum & Sonia. I also loved Callum's mom & we got to know Gregor & Yuri a lot more. The supporting characters felt real and were also well defined.

There were so many things I loved about this one.

The intrigue, the adult romance, the mystery and suspense kept me reading and involved.
However, I had to take away points for how slow paced it was. This was mostly due to Ms. Ashley's tendency to over describe or ramble in certain areas of the story. Usually it doesn't affect her stories as much as it did here.

I know a lot of my fellow Kristen Ashley fans may disagree with me, but I really think this one could have been about 100 pages shorter. There were just to many areas that had the pace slowing down to a crawl.

All in all, it is a dang good, near about perfect, definitely hot and steamy read.

OMG I totally loved this book. Callum is one freaking awesome werewolf. Like seriously cool. And he's so gosh darn sweet (of course in his very bossy, king like way). I loved the parts in the beginning of the book when they were both trying to figure each other out. He was pretty much as clueless about humans as you could get which was adorable because he was still trying to make it work in his own way. It was freaking hilarious hearing the thoughts that were going through each of the main character's heads because they were both so freaking stubborn. Even towards the end when everything was good between them and there were no more secrets they still bickered and butted heads in an adorable way. One of my favorite characters of this book was Ry because of the way he acted with Sonia. Everytime he did something to annoy Cal it made me smile cuz he totally didn't give a crap if he Cal was king or not, he was just his cousin to him. Okay and I really loved how Cal was with his staff at the castle. I can't remember what their names are but they were a blast lol. And the whole thing with the rings and with the chain thingy SIGH :). I'm pretty sure this was my favorite book of the series (I'm writing this after finishing all three books) because theirs was my favorite love story. Watching the eventual understanding of each other and what they needed was so perfect. 100% 5 stars on this one!

I liked this one better than the first in the series. However the world-building remains a major weakness.

If you thought book one of the series was good, just wait till you read this one. I need book 3 right now!!
