I was really looking forward to this book, I really love the 1st of this series and this author is my favorite author of all time. When I started this book Callum really seemed hard core, and I was a little worried about his connection to his mate, but it didn't take long for everything to fall in to place and it was quite funny. And I really love how Sonia freaked out when she first meet Callum, but then quickly started to go with the flow. It made me really fall in love with her character.
Also the Prologue was just amazing, it made me fall for both characters, and have my heart ache for the little Sonia. The ending was so awesome. Can't wait for the next book.

Kristen definitely hit her stride in this series with this book! Callum is what I expect in an Alpha male hero. Yeah he has some asshole-y moments but unlike Lucien he isn't an actual Asshole. (Now I have Guardians of the Galaxy on the brain, haha)

I started the first book of this trilogy and it's getting kind of confusing, the thing with the prophecy and all. I'm sure gonna read the third book because I want to understand what is the meaning of all of this.
I love K.A's characters but this time I wanted to administer some blows to some of them.
In general, I like...ish this K.A's book. I know what is similar to the first one and what was changed in order not to be similar to the first one. I guessed from the start what's going to happen to Sonia and everything...so it wasn't a surprise at the end. Let's see what will happen in the last one!

Whew, it took me quite some time to get through this one! It was a pretty good story, I enjoyed the narrator, but I don't think that this one is going to be one that I revisit. I am looking forward to eventually getting to book 3. Full review to come.
