i have to say it wasn’t really that good and definitely very old fashioned, the ending made me cry though but in a good way

Still as charming as the first reading. Such a unique and enchanting method of storytelling: seriously peculiar themes.
The puer aeternus holds less sway over me than it used to—having since moved onto other archetypal forces—but I will always cherish this paragraph from the end of the book: "There could not have been a lovelier sight; but there was none to see it except a little boy who was staring in at the window. He had ecstasies innumerable that other children can never know; but he was looking through the window at the one joy from which he must be forever barred."

This has always been one of my favourite stories but I had never read the book before. It is good, if slightly strange and a few things prevent it from being higher rated. You can tell clearly when it was written from some of the words used but that doesn't take anything away from the story itself.

I adore the story of Peter Pan, both Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens and Peter and Wendy. However I just couldn't get on with this audible drama. I know this is very much a me thing, perhaps I'll try again in the future.
