My favourite book of the Anne of Green Gable series. I have read numerous times and each time it offers joy and solace. It is so simple and so well written. The paged turn to open pearls of wisdom and hidden gems of phrases. There is positivity with maturity and sheer delight in reading this book. Each chapter, each incident has a relevance and not a word is superfluous in this book.
