Stars: 3/5

This book wasn't anything spectactular nor bad it was just okay. The first book was significantly better.

In the first book it felt like I was reading a story throughout and waiting to see what happens where as in this book there's not really anything happening at all it just all felt like filler. Rather than things happening to Anne, it was more like each chapter was it's own mini story about another character and Anne just happened to be there.

Some of the characters also felt kind of pointless aka Dora. They write in this set of twins and Davy was a bit annoying at times but I don't think he was all that bad, but there's no point of Dora existing. It just felt like she was there so Davy had someone to do bad things to. And she's the sweetest child yet all they talk about is how they love Davy more.

Overall, the book just felt like a bunch of filler to have time pass where nothing actually happens. Hopefully the next one is better.
