No, Preller is not writing new books in this series. Rather it is the first time the Feiwel and Friends is publishing them rather than Scholastic.
This is the story of a kid who was falsely accused of stealing the grand prize for the pet talent show. Jigsaw Jones and his partner Mila must determine the true culprit, especially since other things also start to go missing. In order to do it, Jigsaw puts his own dog in the talent show even though his dog doesn't really have a talent.
Solid chapter book mystery for beginner readers.
