It was super sweet however I really don’t like lack of communication tropes as well as the ending felt a little rushed

This was a lovely sweet book. A very easy read and not a lot of surprises but it read well, lots of easy laughs, and a lovely romantic feel. A palette cleanser of a story.

And I won’t lie, there is now within me a very strong urge to move into a historical house (dragging all my yarn and craft supplies with me) and begin baking and gardening and discovering who I am meant to be.

This was included with Audible or KU. I can't remember which, but it sounded like a cute, easy read so I had to have it.

Emma is in a rut. She's 31 and about to take on her parents bookstore by herself. She realizes she hasn't had a proper time off in seven years. And that was only because she had a serious surgery. She's going to give up on love. She's single. She doesn't have time for the love she wants. It's time to take a stand. She's going to leave her bookshop for 6 weeks and take an extended stay in a quanit village and live like Emily Dickinson. She doesn't expect to pick up a secret admirer and a crush on the handyman. But she has both. Turns out when you stop looking is when you find the love you were meant to have.

This was cute. It was a little drawn out for my liking but I did enjoy the self reflection on Emma's part.
