This book reads like the author was picturing it as a romcom instead of writing a book. The pacing and style are off, and the character development suffers as a result. The “twists” were easily predicted very early in the book and the main character is surprisingly naive for most of it, making the ending feel incredibly rushed.

I was HOOKED from the beginning, then by chapter 4 I was like alright hurry up now. I’m all for finding yourself, no matter the age, but it dragged. It was an obvious ending, but there was too many “problems” in the middle. I’m sure it can be a really great book for someone but not for me!
