P.S. I Still Love You is the second book in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy. It picks up right where the first book left off. Laura Jean and Peter are dating for real and things are going great. Except that he still keeps in touch with Genevieve, his ex-girlfriend. He says it’s because she’s going through a hard time but won’t give Lara Jean any details. Is he telling the truth or is he cheating on her?
To complicate things, one of the other boys she wrote a letter to, John Ambrose McClaren, is back in her life. Does she still have feelings for him? Does he have feelings for her? Will she have to choose between him and Peter?
I liked P.S. I Still Love You just as much as I liked To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. I especially liked how teenage sex is handled. The characters have honest conversations about whether or not to do it and why. It’s clear that the author is advocating for kids to make responsible choices but it doesn’t come off as preachy. It’s authentic and sounds like real thoughts and discussions teenagers would have about it. I mean, teenagers are doing it whether we like it or not. I think it’s weird when characters who have been going out for a really long time haven’t had sex yet or even talked about it.
I’m definitely listening to the third and final book, Always and Forever, Lara Jean, as soon as possible. Then I’ll watch all the movies!

This book was absolutely adorable! Peter and Lara Jean are such a cute couple and I loved watching their love story unfold. I couldn't read this book fast enough! I can't wait for the third book to come out!
Wow, I was so convinced I was so tired of love triangles that I could never truly love a book with a love triangle AND YET I loved reading this so much.
As I was reading I just wanted to get to know all of the characters so much more and I love that throughout the story whilst there’s so much romantic love there was also love in family and in friendship.
Seeing Lara Jean and Gen interact reminded me so much of certain friendships in my past. I loved that we got to know more about their past and I can’t wait to start the next book. I actually really can’t wait and I’m so annoyed I didn’t bring it in my bag today.
The book ending with Lara Jean shaking really mirrors how I’m feeling right now and I can’t wait to finish the trilogy.

If the ending had gone the other way, this would easily have been five stars! I really loved Lara Jean in this book, and I think a huge part of that was because she got to grow more as a character and spent more time reflecting on her relationship with her family than on romantic relationships. I rarely like a sequel more than the first book, but I loved this book and am looking forward to reading the next one!
Probably more like a 4.5, but I think the ending was a little rushed. I liked the balance of real teenage emotions, and I liked the portrayal of teen sexuality and feminism especially. I liked a lot of things, too many to list without this becoming a spoiler fest. I spent the better part of today reading this gem of a novel, and I have no regrets. Lara Jean and Kitty and Margot and Peter were all as dashing and hilarious and heart-wrenching as they were in the first novel, and nothing about that aspect disappointed. This isn't the book I expected after reading the first one, but this definitely exceeded my expectations. I have no idea if these characters will appear in another book someday, but if they do, you can bet I will be reading it.
the only person who didn’t piss me off in this book was mr. john ambrose mcclaren
Cute sequel to "All the boys I've loved before". Wasn't necessary to read (tchere wasn't a cliff hanger in the last book) but still a good read.
This book goes into more detail of the relationship between Lara Jean and Peter and their now real relationship. But when another one of LJ's letters finds John McClaren Ambrose, what will happen to this new relationship?
