I'm a fan of Jon Klassen's artwork, but this storyline was so strange. It's also a picture set up in chapters and conversation style.

This was perfectly weird and unsettling. Charmingly funny. Beautifully illustrated. Can’t get enough of it!!
The suspense as you turn the pages is so well executed. The characters are charming with their little hats and big personalities. I can see why Klassen has had great success with his books because after reading this one, I’m bound to keep my eye out for another.
