 Role Playing to be honest not my cuppa. It is pity since I do enjoy Miss Yardley book in the past. I guess I am not build for game player that kind of book.

I liked all of the nerdy references and chapter titles. The story was sweet and I enjoyed that the characters were on the older side. I also appreciated the discussion of sexuality even though there was an error in definitions. Overall a nice and cozy read.

4.5 stars rounded up. This was a very cute, funny, slow burn, low spice romance. Loved the Bi and Demi rep and the video game aspect was fun though I wish it would have continued more throughout the book. Aiden's, (the male main character) arc was very satisfying to watch. However Maggie's whole ex husband and son drama gave me a little "child of divorce" trauma lol. Overall very enjoyable, had me giggling, cute read.

I absolutely loved the characters, the issues that they had felt so real and complex, I rooted for them from the start! It defied expectations and I loved that.
