<strong>unexpected, important and charming</strong>

A wonderful read with likeable characters navigating difficult family dynamics and finding each other in the midst of it. As a Middle Ages woman I enjoyed reading a grown up romance.

It's a really cute story and a relaxing read after some more heavy ones. Also, love the

rep! It's good to have middle aged MC's, I like that they were established and had most of their shit figured out.

I adored this book. It branches off from the usual romance in two ways that I love. Getting older main characters was such a surprise but a welcome one. Tying their relationship together over the mutual love of gaming, was something that I didn't know I needed. 10/10 I will be reading more Yardley books.
