I adore harry potter but this book wasn’t my favorite. I think it’s iconic but the writing is just not good???? I have seen all the movies, but if I haven’t and I was going into this story blind I would’ve DNFed. I feel like the main characters were really not given much depth in this book. I felt like I had to read this to be able to read the next ones, and it just wasn’t enjoyable. However, happy potter is still iconic so 3.5 stars, but i expected more.
