After you get through the first 50 pages it really does get better. This is a sick and twisted book and truly horrifying. It made me feel sick and made me concerned as to why I continued reading. But it was well written and it felt like ‘escape room’ but with children and playground themed.

I can’t explain why I carried on reading or why I give it 3* but I read it all, rooted for certain character’s, and was really invested in who would make it to the finish.

I honestly didn‘t expect much other than a lot of gore. So I was really pleasantly surprised to find the writing good and finding myself getting quite attached to some of the characters. It‘s definitely not for the faint-hearted so make sure you check the TW! I liked it more than I expected.

Definitely a disgusting book, but it's very well written. I felt myself getting attached to the characters only for that to come to a tragic end. It was very very sad and lots of parts were disturbing but the ending was bittersweet.

This was wild. A lot more gruesome than I'd originally thought but still a good read. I definitely would recommend checking on TW/CW's before you read this if you're wanting to because it's very disturbing in some parts.

This book is most definitely not for everyone. I mean the cover alone gives away what the book is about.

I personally enjoyed the story. I feel it was well written and enjoy the depth in the description giving. Some of it was a bit much while other times I was oddly laughing. But again you come to expect things with this genre. I look forward to reading more from the author.

As someone who rarely likes fiction I found this book insanely hard to put down.

Extremely graphic.

Extremely nothing like anything else I’ve ever read.

Saw meets battle royale is the best way to describe the ride this took me on.

Assume if you have a trigger it’s probably addressed atleast once in this one.
