This was almost a 4 star read for me. I may read it again and upgrade it. Scarlett and Gavin were sweet, funny, and sexy together. Loved EVERYTHING about this book.

A drunken Vegas wedding to an international rock star changes the life of an uptight children's book writer.

Full of fun twists and turns keeping these two together, I really couldn't put this book down. I'd list it as a guilty pleasure.

This is my first book by this author and it wont be the last. This book is hilarious! I loved every minute of it! This is Gavin and Scarlett's story.

Gavin needs to repair his image or his music career will go down the tubes. He’s also just learned he has a son he never knew existed! Gavin wants to settle down, and bribing his new wife to stay married may just fit everything into place.

Scarlett agrees to the ruse to help her family’s financial troubles even though she can hardly control herself around the rock star. As they search for Gavin’s son, will the cross-country adventure give them exactly what they’ve been missing or send them packing?

This was a pretty sweet book. I really enjoyed the first half. Them getting to know each other was fun to read. Once the drama started with his son, it lost me. I think there was a enough going on without needing that extra story line.

This is the first book I have read from Jami Albright and it most definitely won't be the last. This is the story of a Writer who is also a Sunday School Teacher and a Gorgeous Rock Star. They wake up hungover together in Vegas and that's where the fun starts. I really love Scarlett and Gavin. They are really likeable characters and I love the chemistry and interaction between them. This book made me laugh out loud but was also very thought provoking at times. I love the other family members, Scarlett's Aunt had me in stitches. If you want an enjoyable, romantic, fun read, then I definitely recommend this book.

There are an infinite number of contemporary romances. We could all read one every hour for the rest of our lives and never catch up. And yet, I took the time to re-read this series because it is JUST THAT DAMN GOOD.

There are a lot of things to expect in a Rockstar Romance. The money, the glitz, the groupies, the adjusting to the harsh media spotlight. It's all the same...right? WRONG. Because Jami Albright gives the metaphorical finger to predictable trope trappings and instead delivers a book about family, expectations, overcoming a crap childhood, embracing who you are (including the bad bits), forgiveness, shame, and the ways in which we heal each other's hearts and it's all in "Running From A Rockstar". And, somehow, this book is still light, fun, and funny!

Oh, and I forgot to mention...insanely hot scenes that will incinerate your lady bits. As in shove-a-fire-extinguisher-down-your-pants hot. But these characters have a level of sweetness that will melt your heart as well.

Just lean forward and look into my eyes. Are you gazing into the hazel depths? Now, listen to me: READ. THIS. BOOK. Then come back and tell me how much you loved it. Then read the rest of this series. You're welcome. My work here is done.

RATING:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
STEAM LEVEL: Rated R
TRIGGERS:
FEELS-O-METER: 2/5 A bit of drama, but still a light read.

Boring.... could barely finish this book. I had high hopes due to the high rates and reviews. It just didn’t cut it for me. Had typical plot, with typical bad boy, with typical good girl... predictable.

This was a fun, easy read - well written and with lots of good pacing. I loved Gavin's character and thought he was really well developed. I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series, what is featured of Jack and Luanne's story in this book has already got me hooked.
