Really interesting. I think more interesting than [b:The Man in the High Castle|216363|The Man in the High Castle|Philip K. This book, save for some of the names and titles used, is completely different from the movie that is loosely based on it. While both Bladerunner and this book tackle the notion of what it means to be alive/real as one of the core themes of their respective stories, the stories themselves and how they are told are vastly different. That being the case, on its own merits, I would recommend this book to anyone who finds discussions around what constitutes something being alive to be interesting.
If it didn’t continually reference women’s breasts in the weirdest ways and the main guy having sex with an android that looks like a teenager I would have given it 4 stars. It seriously wore me down
