Every year at Christmas I read several books in Donna Van Liere’s Christmas novella series. They’re nice short reads and I always enjoy the characters. In the CHRISTMAS SECRET, Christy is struggling to make ends meet as a single mother. When she helps a woman suffering from a medical event one morning, she crosses paths with someone who will change her life. Jason is an accountant who is reluctantly working in his grandfather’s store for the holidays, and not liking the life lessons the older man is trying to teach him. He’s been tasked with finding Christy. This was a nice read. 4/5 stars.

Sweet little Christmas story. There were a lot of characters in this book which was challenging to keep track of for such a short read but the story was cute and everything I expected from a Christmas book.

Another heartwarming tale that includes Christmas miracles, the promise of love and a fresh start. This is the fifth book in the Christmas Hope series and my second favorite story so far. The only disappointment for me was I felt that the story was wrapped up too quickly and did not give an explanation of who was behind one of the miracles Christine was receiving. Otherwise, the story was very touching.

Slightly too long and rather trite, but still a cute Christmas story

Well-written story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters are believable and there is just the right amount of intrigue and curiosity to make the reader want to find out how it all ends. I read this book in a day and I haven't done that in years! Highly recommend.
