Very "and then, and then, and then" with very little in regards to character development and world building. The writing is sort of cringey in what detail it does provide. Disappointing read.

Maybe I will go back to this some day, but I can't bring myself to do so since I started it months ago.
It could be a lack of good translation or maybe the original writing lacked something, but the writing was quite stale. The main character was really off and of course that interested me, but I didn't feel like the ending was going to be anything surprising or exciting.
I guess to put it into perspective, it reads like it is meant to be a Satoshi Kon story, only there are none of the interesting characters and mysteries that Kon presented in his work. I wanted to know the ending, but just not enough to finish it.
